Designed by Victoria’s Andre and Associates, the “Oregon: Yours, Mine; Ours” exhibit offers a history of the state through the Twentieth Century. One special part of the gallery is a historical look at Oregon‘s Black community, while another addresses the issue of modern-day homelessness.
In a reverent nod to Oregon’s Sixties counterculture, 3DS created an authentically replicated “Cobb House”, made of straw and concrete. On the other end of the scale, a massive decommissioned control panel from the Trojan Nuclear plant was brought in. The logistics involved were significant and extended to the installation of glass panels to shield the front of the display and ensure visitor safety.
