Alyeska Resort wanted to capitalize on an underutilized corner of the Bore Tide Deli in their mid-mountain lodge. The space had incredible views over sprawling Turnagain Arm, the Chugach Mountain Range, and the seven local “hanging” glaciers.
3DS knew just what to do. We created an intimate lounge and bar and brought the natural surroundings inside (literally), combining them with a contemporary/industrial look. River rock, displayed behind wire mesh, compliments the exposed wooden beams and brings warmth to the room. Stylish and inviting seating surrounds a striking custom polished concrete bar with raw steel structure.
The Bore Tide Bar, once an overlooked seating area is now a spectacular, revenue-producing Alaskan gem.
