On Turks & Caicos Island, in the exotic West Indies, 3DS had the great pleasure of working on this wonderful Carribean beach resort presentation center.“Veranda”, a high-end tropical resort, required an equally luxurious outdoor sales center and detail was very important, to ensure visitors’ a complete, seamless experience. A set of existing buildings was transformed into a lush, contained environment. This became a tool for salespeople to engage customers with a, highly focused sales message, in natural harmony with the larger message of Island life. Above it all, an observation tower contains an historical exhibit, showcasing antique navigation artifacts, including five authentic weathervanes.Flow control is always important in real estate sales centers and, in this case, extends well beyond signage alone. Rich, subtle, finely tuned details evoke a sense of ease and relaxation, while also helping to orient visitors and deliver the story effectively. Special sculptures, aged copper signs, bronze plaque and other touches all contribute to a visitor’s state of mind.
