A Ski Resort Food Court That Grew To Meet Popular Demand: They Came, So We Built It.

Red Pine Lodge At The Canyons was becoming too small for the enthusiastic crowds this ski resort food court was getting. This is a small mountaintop lodge in a heavily-visited resort and needed fast flow-through to avoid congestion and keep its F&B operation running smoothly. With a second-floor expansion already underway, additional reconfiguration of the facility’s basic footprint and an expanded entranceway, 3DS was able to develop a much more efficient space model for the main floor servery & dining area.

Following an aesthetic objective of “rustic mountain elegance”, we gave the space a contemporary wood restaurant design, which blended seamlessly with existing fixtures and details. In the process, 3DS also rebranded the lodge, with an earthy, rugged brand identity. The result has been doubled flow-through traffic and increased sales by a significant margin.
