3DS Creates Interactive Exhibits That Involve, Engage And Enlighten

3DS has created interactive systems that range from cutting edge to primitively effective. We know there are unique strengths to every approach. Touch screen kiosk systems, and video kiosks have been part of our multimedia exhibit systems for years. For interactive museum exhibits this has enabled a level of visitor engagement not possible with fixed museum displays. Now, the advent of handheld devices and smartphones takes that capability to an even more robust level. 3DS has, for example, built interactive exhibits completely controllable via an iPhone or Blackberry.

But not all interactivity happens on a screen. At the other end of the scale, old–fashioned mechanical ingenuity can be just as often the best method to convey an idea or message. Here, the computer interface is replaced by an exhibit where a compelling real–world mechanical display is the interface. This is a powerful tool, especially where children are involved, as in educational exhibits and science centers.

In either case, there is a clear communicative leap between just looking and being able to walk up & touch. 3DS creates accessible, interactive exhibit systems, right down to the custom interface.
