Harrisons Cave Interpretive
BarbadosAn Environmental Sustainability Exhibit, With A Tight Footprint And A Tighter Deadline
With a constricted timeframe, the Barbados government asked 3DS to create a temporary exhibit, showcasing its many efforts toward environmental sustainability. With only six weeks to the World Cricket Championships and an anticipated heavy surge in important visitor traffic, 3DS, working with Waddell and Conder, took a relatively small repurposed building within the Harrison’s Cave site and created this vibrant, environmental interpretive center and sustainability exhibit.
Use of large banners and projection systems ensured lightweight, low-cost, problem-free shipping & installation. At the same time, this allowed full-motion video to deliver a rich visual message showcasing government programs for water, vegetation, solar power and more. From floor to ceiling, this exhibit delivered a clear message in a sensible creative, compelling manner.
