Heavy Metal Thunder: A Retail Space With A Rockin’ Centrepiece
As a central showplace for classic bikes, Trev Deely Motorcycles, Vancouver’s largest Harley-Davidson dealer, had Karo, Vancouver’s largest design firm, create a specially designated space for this mini-museum adjacent to its retail space. When it came to building the massive ceiling-mounted motorcycle wheel that forms the enormous functional lighting fixture, Karo naturally came to the retail fabricators at 3DS. Harley-Davidson is known for its strongly-branded themed interiors and this is an authentic Harley-Davidson wheel, from the hub and spokes, right out to the tire. Despite its considerable weight, installation was very straightforward.
