Eyewear – especially athletic eyewear – is huge business. But some manufacturers have more than a little difficulty in retail spaces that may not lend themselves to displaying eyewear products like ski goggles or sunglasses. 3DS provides a perfect solution, with custom cabinetry designed & built expressly to showcase eyewear. We’ve solved this problem for Oakley, Scott, Smith, Carrerra and others, to the great satisfaction of the eyewear companies and retailers alike.
These cases are built for the manufacturers and supplied to the vendors. Some combine with other merchandising displays, others are devoted exclusively to eyewear products and everything integrates beautifully with the store brand look & feel. Some are retro-themed cabinets, recalling 1930s refrigeration units, some look like old-fashioned hardware store cabinetry. We’ve even made heavily industrialized-looking “rocket-fantasy” styled cases that look like they sprung from a Jules Verne novel.
3DS can work to any scale & size. In addition, whenever a metal finish is called for, we use our proprietary LuminOre process, to create massive metal display cases that would be simply impossible to fabricate in real metal.
